Wi-Fi or LAN

Any reliable broadband service delivered to your premises via telephone line, will easily be adequate for MECH5 to work very well. In practice MECH5 will work on speeds as low as 5 Mbps.

Mobile Broadband

We recommend a minimum connection speed of 3G for MECH5 to work when using mobile broadband.

In exhaustive testing, we found that ECU live data streaming is perfectly satisfactory at 3G speeds.

3G speed is an average of about 6.1Mbit/s across all networks.

4G speed is an average of about 15.1Mbit/s across all networks.
