When your MECH5 subscription runs out it will automatically take the new payment if you have not opted out of the automatic subscription renewal. If you have opted out it will turn into a 'Freemium' MECH5 account. This will mean you can still use MECH5, but only to read Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Without paying us another penny!
FREEMIUM users will NOT be able to clear DTCs, read Live Data Parameters (PIDs), use Actuators or perform Special Functions or Coding features unless they buy a one-month subscription…
OK, so it’s not full access, but it still means you can test MECH5 on any ECU on any car you wish at any time in the future and see the real possibilities this flexible platform gives you.
No more questions like: “Does this scan tool cover this function, on that ECU, on this car?”
With the MECH5 FREEMIUM model, users will actually be able to see every Live Datastream, every possible Actuator, every Special Function that MECH5 could access if you did wish to upgrade to a monthly paid subscription!
Every time you open Xlink you will be on the latest software version even if you are out of subscription. So it the first time ever that technicians can really see what a diagnostic tool can do at any given time, before they commit to pay for anymore - its virtually ZERO RISK.
Never before in the history of scan tools has this been possible!
